MBA Insurance & Insurance Binder Requirements
All rentals must be covered by MBA insurance or an approved insurance binder submitted in advance.

This page explains the two current options: MBA insurance at booking, or an approved binder if you’re using your own policy.
Option 1: MBA Insurance (Recommended)
Most renters select MBA insurance during booking. It’s the simplest way to make sure your reservation meets our coverage requirement.

Coverage details, pricing, and terms are provided directly through MBA during the selection process.
Option 2: Use Your Own Insurance (Binder Required)
If you prefer to use your own insurance, you must submit a valid insurance binder and receive approval before pickup.
If we don’t receive and approve a qualifying binder by the deadline, MBA insurance will remain required prior to release of the RV.
Insurance Binder Requirements
To be accepted, the insurance binder must meet all of the following:
- Lists the primary renter as the named insured
- Shows effective dates covering the entire rental period
- Includes the insurance company name and policy number
- Includes agent or carrier contact info for verification
- Clearly identifies coverage for the rented RV or states coverage extends to rented motorhomes or travel trailers
- Includes the required coverage types per our rental agreement
Submission Deadline
Binder documentation must be submitted no later than 72 hours prior to pickup to allow time for review and approval.
If an approved binder is not received by the deadline, MBA insurance will remain required prior to release of the RV.
